This tour in a nutshell

This private day tour from Munich truly gives you the best of Tegernsee on a more leisurely guided hike. After a little climb of around 15 minutes we reach an elevated path above the lake. The view of the lake and mountains are magnificent and the beautifully decorated farmhouses along the way are the icing on the cake (on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays we can even enjoy some cake and coffee at a real farm café). Our path takes us through forests and traditional mountain pastures – always above the lake and with great viewpoints along the way. Finally, we'll head down to the lake for an excellent Bavarian lunch at the local brewery that is located in an old monastery (since the secularisation in 1803 it is actually a castle). Replenished, we'll stroll through the village of Tegernsee and along the lake shore before heading back to Munich.
