360°

A Panoramic View of Rocky Ranges and Mellow Meadows

This tour in a nutshell

Head to the Austrian border with us on this guided day trip to the cute town of Mittenwald. The houses here are covered with the famous "Lüftlmalerei" – a fresco painting technique with a stunning trompe-l’œil-effect that is typical of the region. From the old town, we hike toward to a couple mountain lakes that are nestled at the foot of the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains. Learn about the cultural landscapes and the dramatic geology of the area on your way.

We continue our hike up the mountain for amazing 360° views of the region with its dramatic rocky mountain ranges and more mellow meadows. It will seem like an effort, but the views will make it worth your while! And on the way down, a hearty lunch and a cold beer await the ambitious hiker.

This tour can also be arranged without the summit and we can also adapt the itinerary as we go along.
